Vanella Cheese

Burrata is a fresh Italian cheese, made from mozzarella and fresh cream. The outer shell is solid mozzarella while the inside contains both mozzarella and fresh cream, giving it an unusual, soft texture. It is usually served fresh, at room temperature. The name "burrata" means "buttered" in Italian.

Great to make any salad special.

Not always available so if it is, get it. The burrata isn't quite as large as some you can buy but the centre is lovely and silky and not just full of cream.

Decadent and delicious

Vannella cheese is excellent. Wasn’t sure how to store this as it was quite soft and I thought it would break up in the whey, so I ate it all in one go. YOLO.

Ok but not great

The burrata’s expiry date was the date it arrive at my door so I ate it immediately but did notice it started to go sour. I’m sure the burrata would have been delicious if it was in-date.
